The book I was reading is called Hoops. I liked this book because it is about poetry about the game of basketball. I would recommend this book to kids who like poetry. From Avi
To Akhil : I read Hour of the Olympics too. I thought it was a great book. My favorite part was when Annie got caught in the Olympics and they rode away on pegasus in the end.
Hi Anu Hour Of The Olympics is about Jack and Annie going to Greece trying to find a book part of Morgan's Library before it gets lost in time.They landed in the hour of the Olympics. They figured out girls were not allowed to do things boys were. But they found a girl writer - Annie wanted to show everyone but she had to keep it a secret because the writer was not allowed to be a writer. She had the story they were looking for - they took the story to Morgan and she put it in her library. I enjoyed the book very much.

The Hour of Olympics makes me think about the time that my wife and I went to Athens, Greece this past summer. While I was there Athens was hosting a Special Olympics. We saw Olympic athletes walking around the streets and touring the museums and sites. We watched some of the games on TV, but we didn't go see the stadium. Thanks for sharing Avi. We look forward to hearing about your new books next Tuesday.
